Sharing in Student Success

Since 2011, Sharing in Student Success has been helping children in need by providing backpacks stuffed with school supplies. In their words, “Unfortunately, we also know children who are seen as “different” can become targets of bullying. Thankfully, our program provides children from low-income households the same supplies as their peers and allows everyone to learn on the same level.”

Helping With Bikes

Helping with Bikes is a division of a past presenter, Helping with Furniture. Their main goal is to refurbish donated bikes and provide them to families in need – Helping with Bikes has been in operation for about 5 years and has repaired and provided over 200 bicycles each year to some of the most vulnerable in our community. At their core, they believe that “the bicycle is a simple solution to some of the world’s most complicated problems”.
