Soup 15: Project to Love (Spring 2018)

Join us this Monday, March 26th at Impact Hub Ottawa, where we will learn about five exciting community-based initiatives, while enjoying homemade soup and bread from Green Rebel!

The Birth Talks 
presents an opportunity for ten women from all walks of life to learn to tell their stories of pregnancy, birth and parenting. Their mission is to encourage communities towards social change through the art of storytelling and performance.
Can’t Use Your Ticket?
 collects unused event tickets from venues, individuals and companies and redistributes them to underprivileged kids and youth in the community. The goal is to relieve social exclusion by providing youth with free access to arts, cultural and sporting events.Ausome Ottawa is a local charity that works to enrich the lives of kids and their families living with autism through the use of sport and recreation. This charity was just named the winner of the Community Initiative award at the 2018 Ottawa Social Impact Awards.

Cooking Blind with High Tech is a cooking collective aimed at teaching new techniques and methods for blind persons using new high tech devices operated by cell phones to make it as accessible as possible.

Project RMORE wants to create handmade crochet blankets for victims of sexual abuse and violence to wrap them in loving kindness. This project hopes to assist in renewing these individuals a sense of community that care about them.
